1293cc Power Unit
This is a rebuilt Mini motor engine assembly from Mini Mania. Both the Mini Motor engine and transmission have been rebuilt with our vast experience to insure the right combination of economy and performance; you get good performance at an economical price! Our Mini Motor is built for unleaded gas, the engine should produce between 65 and 75 horsepower (comparable to original Cooper "S"). Item: 1275_POWERUNIT
1293cc Power Unit
With an estimated 100 horsepower on tap from this engine this great package is ready to install and will absolutely thrill you. The rebored 1275cc motor includes high compression (9.75:1) performance pistons, an Aluminum cylinder head and a fast road camshaft (276 degrees duration). This set up will provide the ultimate in performance with great reliability! Item: 1275HP_ENGINE
These pre-owned units have been taken out of cars in the UK and are tested by Mini Mania for compression, oil pressure and blow-by. The assembly includes everything from cylinder head to clutch and transmission, and can esily be fitted to all Minis from 1959 forward. If I wanted to et a good base to build a screamer of 1293 engine. My engine gives now 120,5 HP from the engine and 136 Newtonmeters between 3500-6400.
would it be wise to buy a new racing engine from you. We used 649 cam and dish pistons.
The next should be flat top pistons and a cam as good or the same original 649 with full degrees.

Are the split Webers still offered. Having had them as well as a single 45 on a swan neck manifold and found the split 45's to be far superior??

Can some one tell me that on the mini cooper team cars 1275 - 1293 did the factory use the large cam driven tachometer as seemn on most of the team cars in the day? If so how did they access the camshaft? thanks you Kind Regards Tony Giordano in long island ny usa
Tony, Yes, there use to be a kit that provided that option for direct tach drive but has long ago been discontinued.

would you be able to recrate the big bore unit I am currently running, 1530cc, 74.7mm stroker 10.5 - 1 compression 130 wade cam running twin 1 3/4" su. If I have issues down the track cannot rebuild could you supply block or crank as required.( A spec )
