Question:
I've lost power to the low beam headlight on the passenger side headlight (left) of my RHD Mini (Italian Job Mini, I think it is probably a '92) The wire itself has no power to it (Blue/Red), but the corresponding Blue/Red wire for the right headlight works fine. I've made an attempt at tracing back but wondering if this could be a headlight relay issue instead of wiring? OH! Where IS/are the headlight relay(s) located on my car? Behind the instrument cluster? I actually don't even see any headlight relays on the wiring diagram list. Lastly, I have Haynes manual for my car and I've pretty much discerned that the wiring diagrams for my car is labeled as "Wiring Diagram 18 - 1988-on Carburettor models". Am I looking at the correct schematic?
Answer:
Yes, check up under the dash. You may need to replace this one: https://www.minimania.com/part/YWC10050/Classic-Mini-Relay-12v-7-Pin-For-Dip-Dim-Control-pink
