Mini Meet West Dates

1973

May

  • First U.S. Mini Meet was held in Reno, Nevada the 26, 27, 28th. There were 43 paid registrations. Eventually, the Meet became known as the first Mini Meet West after the start up of the Mini Meet East events in 1975.

 

1974

July

  • The second North American Mini Meet was held the 5th, 6th and 7th in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Eventually, the Meet became known as a Mini Meet West after the start up of the Mini Meet East events in 1975,

 

1975

Misc.

  • The 3rd Mini Meet West, scheduled for Los Angeles, California, was canceled – the only Mini Meet to be cancelled (through 2011).

 

1976

September

  • The 3rd Mini Meet West was held the 3rd – 6th in Renton, WA. (The 3rd Meet was to have been in Los Angeles, CA, in 1975, but was canceled.)

  • The 4th Mini Meet West was held the 3rd - 5th in Terra Linda, California.

 

1978

  • The 5th Mini Meet West was held the 2nd - 4th at the Airport Inn, Richmond, B.C., Canada.

 

1979

  • The 6th Mini Meet West was held the 1st – 3rd in Santa Ana, California.

 

1980

  • The 7th Mini Meet West was held the 30th - September 1 in Terra Linda, California.

 

1981

  • The 8th Mini Meet West was held the 5th – 7th in Richmond, B.C., Canada.

  • The 9th Mini Meet West was held the 3rd – 6th in Santa Barbara, California.
