Our range of road seats and recliners are available in a wide range of trim options, and our Signature range allows for virtually any individual tailoring of the seat. We even offer machined aluminium side plates and hand wheels for our recliners. All our race seats are approved to FIA 8855 specification. This is the most stringent race seat test, and one which through the testing process we found our seats to be built to exceed these regulations. We have race seats to suit many applications, right up to Super Touring and World Class Rally. Our experience has lead us to develop different shapes and styles to suit various applications, and we are one of the only manufacturers to sell GT (wide) versions of our race seats. These have been tested individually to the FIA 8855 regulations. We can also make, to order, seats bearing any logo you desire embroidered into the cover of the seat, and we can trim in a variety of colours and fabrics. Remember - your seat is only FIA approved for 5 years, and is affected by accidents - treat your seat in the same way you do your helmet. The launch of the Cobra Technology® range represents our desire to provide the most advanced seating products available from any manufacturer. In our designs, we have looked for materials which represent the most effective application of technology, or simply the best material for the purpose - cost has not been a factor in our decisions, yet we have shown that our prices are still competitive. The design idea came from our work in Australian V8 Super Touring. With driver changes, they wanted a seat which fitted both drivers equally. In addition, we were aware that other manufacturers offer a seat fitting service, although not to the public - only to the elite of the professional drivers around the world. Our concern is that the seat in which a top rally driver sits is not necessarily the same as you or I could buy in the shops. Cobra seats are the real thing. Our V8 Super Touring drivers sit in production Evolution seats - EXACTLY the same as available in the shops. Our aim, therefore, was to offer an individually moulded seat, but to be able to offer this to anyone in the world who wanted it. The result is Cobra Technology® cushions and seats. Amazingly, in our quest to offer this to everyone, we have actually bettered the alternative - Confor foam has properties which an individually moulded seat does not - and it moulds to fit you every time you or anyone sits in it. Best of all, you don't have to be a world famous driver to get one (just don't let the fact that they will give you the wrong impression).
