I have been doing this for awhile. I still ship parts out and ask if satisfied pay if not return. I'd rather lose a part than have someone talk bad about me. I can't help but wonder why in all this time he has not stated his case right here. This is a tough bunch but if you are right you are right if wrong someone will let you know.

I've got to agree with the above here.

Although I had one good experience with Terry myself, Matthew/Spitz and I have done many more transactions with no issues, and I'd trust him with any transaction going forward.

If Terry was found guilty, because he didn't show for court, as Cupcake mentioned... well, maybe he should have shown for court. If he thought it was too much of a hassle, then maybe he should PAY UP!

Highbody,
So you did squeeze blood from a turnip... congrats... I think.

Did NovaShawn try to hide behind his wife's skirt? IE: Having everything in her name.
I once collected from a scumbag contractor here in Ohio by using the "community property" laws here. The baliff went in and started marking household items for a tag sale. Had the check from the scumbag that afternoon.

Edit: I can't fathom justmoken being our friend Bill.... The typing is too lucid.

LOL Larry...

His not bothering to show wasn't what made him guilty.
The facts before the judge....pictures, emails, etc., are what made him guilty.
He's in the same category as what's his name..nova something

My dealings with Matthew/SPITZ have always been top notch.  I'd say on the outside, if he didn't get paid, (at the very least) the parts should've been returned.  Just because you don't think you got "good" parts is no reason to keep them and not pay for them, is it?

Technically it does make him guilty - a no show is basically an admission of no case to answer.

cup cake-Say what you want but all of my dealing with SPITZ in SK have been excellent & all parts were bought/sold sight unseen-

And as far as a default judgement," a  judgement is a judgement is a judgement", same effect in the eyes of the law-Just show up on the debtors steps with a sherrif in tow and see how fast the money ponies up-

And who is this officer Bill ????- "Just Moken" ??????

I still havn't seen a penny from Terry Snell ( Penticton BC )....and doubt I will....but at least I was right, and he was found guilty

Sorry to hear you got burned on seats too.  A lot of very good guys in the mini community.  Happy to hear after all this time you got justice in the end.

thanks guys.. it wasent all about the money.. a good portion of it was, but i had no motor and i was out my money.. so i took the steps i needed to take.

the trip from ct to nc was a hike but i had a buddy go with me and it made for a fun trip. his reasons for not shipping the motor i think made the judge chuckle a little bit.

unfortunatly this experience and getting burned on a set of seats left a bad taste in my mouth and i got out of the mini project.

I just wanted to let people know that justice has been served, thanks all who helped allong the way, (even officer Bill, hahaha)

Good for you, my buddy decided to eat his loss and sell his power unit for what he could get and go on. When we called and spoke with Shawn he threatened to beat us up if we came back to his house. I saw no chance for satisfaction without risking jail time. We lost $300 on the resale but were honest with the buyer and all partys were satisfied.

We are still working on Elliot's hand control van. Due to limited funds it's a slow go but we will both be proud when we are done. We need a window trim part. It looks to be stainless steel and clips on the moving glass vertically to provide a tab to move the window. We have one and if you hold it in you hand with channel facing you tab and latch on right, latch closest to you that's the one we have we need the other. If you could help it would be great. This is for the rear sliding windows. We aren't asking for a gift just some help locating some parts for a project.

That is a great result. Sorry for your experience with [email protected] from //www.classicshack.com

We aren't all theives... Just the odd bad apple.

It's been fun, but this place is done. I have no hatred, and appreciate the good times. But this place now belongs to Tony and his pink mini.

It lets people in the Mini world know that "caveat emptor" isn't just a phrase!
