And you DO already know about Bill G at MINCOMP also in Costa Mesa, right? But you've already said that neighborhood is too far...
here's a list for CA for MG folks-- if they fix MGs, they can fix minis too, right?

Join the local Mini club. I'm sure that for a meal and beverage (maybe even skip the meal) you would have any number of miniacs willing to lend you a hand. Just don't be afraid to get your own hands dirty.

Anyone know of any classic mini cooper service shops or mechanic in the los angeles area. Please dont say heritage its too far and too expensive. Thanks for the help guys.
