Well thank you for that Willie, only 2 months late but considering you dug up a 3 year old post even better- And Cup Cake, the pic of the Mini Mover with my original mini van on the deck must have been taken in the early nineties as l did not have any of the "Royal Canadian Air Force" signage on the side panels- The RCAF insignia was in tribute to my late father C M (RED) Guest an early enlistment into the service at age 28-

BTW, did l mention he hated British cars with a passion as he was a Ford/Mercury dealer after the war-We had to sell the English Ford Prefect line as a term of the dealer ship In fact my first Brit car was a 1949 blue 2 DR Prefect with trafficators-, l got away from the Prefect after 2 years and 8 years later got an Austin America but never purchased a mini until 1990, the van in the picture-What a way to enter the mini game, 1071S , disc front brakes and a rare van at that- The van lasted me for 8 years until l sold it at MM East in Seekonk MA and sadly it ended up as a static display in a Home out fitters store in Holland MI- Ask Paul Nelson , he keeps trying to buy it- In fact, after it sat in the store for a couple of years, a group on this forum fictionarily planned to go to Holland MI and break out the car in the name of decency- (FREE THE MINI VAN) Of course this never materialized but the thread ran for weeks-

Oh man, the things I would do with that if she appeared at my house for my birthday.

First I would get the girl off of the bonnet...

Happy Birthday eh!
