If the Spreen's mini engine is ever disassembled, I'd like to know the build specs. Keep it on the back burner in mind in case

that ever happens.

thanks.

Mike, I have tried to figure a way to wrap the nudge bar. It won't box well and I don't know if they will take it just wrapped with bubble and paper. Still have this Weber kit and need fewer not more. Steve (CTR)

Got a call over the weekend about a Weber kit. It was recently removed from a SPI car and fits without cutting the bulkhead. 45 DCOE, one of the better quality short intakes, bolt on top linkage, 20mm air horns fully sorted and driven on the street for over a year. Owner is now playing with a pair of flat slide MC carbs mounted on a Weber intake. I will be buying the Weber stuff but it is clear I don't need another Weber kit. Please contact me if this may be of interest. We can work out a deal. Steve (CTR)

Zip, I'd have to back up a little and get a long wheel base car to display my SU collection. Today my needles should show up form Joe Curto. The plan is to bush and install new throttle shafts in clean bodies. Once done I'll either offer them like that or complete the rebuild depending on demand. Steve (CTR)

Thanks Zip, I'll send you a pic of the whole family. Got a small box with big price tag today. The weber jets I needed to fill out my collection came in. I love it. Steve (CTR)

That's way cool with me. I'd love to take a swing at one of those. I have a MGB manifold for one and a later carb and adapter I've never gotten to. Please email me with your pay pal info and cost of boxing and shipping and we can do this. Thanks Steve (CTR)

Would you be interested in a Weber DCD (down-draft predecessor to the DGV our host sells)? I have one to get rid of - complete with manifold and a "rebuild kit". It was on my Mini when I got it. Yours for shipping cost.

Looking like this is not the place to look for Weber parts. That's Ok I did get one email about Weber bits and that's good. I noticed our host has a single 45 DCOE 9 (used) for sale. It appears I currently have 9 of them. I have a question, when buying a Weber (side draft) would you rather have an as is dirty used unit or one that has been gone though and had worn parts replaced? The next question is about calibration. I have seen people try to run carbs as supplied, most often they are way off as delivered. Would a bare housing with all working parts but no calibration do or would you rather buy one all fitted with calibration even if only a guess? How about manifolds, ram pipes, filters and linkage? Last question, those who have played with both how do you see the Spanish Weber compared to the made in Italy ones?

I'd also be interested in SU needles both .090 and .100 fixed and spring loaded. My engine test stand is a work in progress and adding the Dyno this summer I'll be needing jets and needles to play with. Steve (CTR)

Thanks I did get one reply about this. I have a fair collection of carbs, ram pipes, air cleaners and short intakes. Well I have several longer intakes also. Mostly what I'm looking for are:

the odd number chokes 33,35,37 in pairs if possible.

Any of the smaller number aux vent. 3.0,3.5,4.0 and 4.5, 5.0 also

Any idle jets

pump jets in the 30, 35, 40, 55, 60, 65

mains and airs mid range 130 though 170 by 5s

Can buy or trade what ever works best.

Rather than start a new thread I'll pick up this one here. Now we have a new board system with a place to sell stuff. I was able to sell two of my webers and I think I'll hang on the the balance for awhile. I have been buying kits and going though the carbs and getting them ready for plug and play. I have also purchased small section tackle boxes and gotten all my bits sorted. As I expected I'm deep in some parts and thin in others. My plan is to end up with a pair of every part offered as a calibration . If you have any weber bits left over or no longer used I'm interested. Buy or trade I'd like to flush my collection. Steve (CTR)

Wanted:

chokes

aux venturi

EM tubes

mains

airs

idles

pumps
