If you are the person that bought the car....  I am not unreasonable.......   I have seen the amount of views.  Likely someone knows or has bought this car.  I can offer money for the improvements if you contact me...........   Or..... WHEN... I find it .... I take it and  you can guarantee I will do my best to have you charged.....

I saw this old pic on the VMC site.....is that the one?

Mine was absolutely the same, except the rims.  And the paint scheme.  And it is strange it has brown seats.   I can't say that is the one as that is the wife/daughter of the President of the Vancouver Mini club and I would expect his sense of right/wrong should be beyond repute.  I met him once, seemed like a reasonable fellow.  I will check out nevertheless.  Thanks

Sorry, I don't understand this reference.  This was a quote by the RCMP officer "It is not a Mercedez Benz" thus not going to investigate.

have you got a senior constable or district attorney (court prosecutor)who you can get involved? If not, you might try the newspapers and radio shows along with TV. Pretty horrible. I guess all you Canadians will be gluing benz stars to the boot lid from now on.

Hard to believe.

I'm looking through all my backups for pictures....  as of yet it is a no go.  I really appreciate people looking into it.   But the mini has always been my favourite.   I spent 3 years working at 9 dollars an hour to save for the body work on this car, clutch etc.... etc.    $5,000 I bought it it in '96 in Victoria and enjoyed it a great deal.  Robin Jobin of Maple Ridge will not say who has it however maybe leafletting his neighbourhood stating he is a car thief might make him tell.  He lives on the corner of Maple crescent and Westfield Ave.

Car theft has been decriminalized by brand..  Mercedez will be prosecuted.... Austin mini not so much

I live in Pitt Meadows.  My Son lives in Maple Ridge, where a number of Vancouver Mini Club people live.

Give us some photos to go along with the words - many eyes could be looking out for you.

I am offering ($1000 US) for information leading to the return of my mini.  It was stolen by the brother of the fellow whose house I had it stored;  And sold.  He will be sued.  However I'm still looking for the car.   It will likely not come with registration.
The thief, Robin Jobin has admittedto the RCMP to taking and selling the car but has not been charged as "It is not a Mercedes Benz" I will be dealing with the RCMP more forcibly with cameras
  Details as follows:
RCMP File #    2011-8614  Constable Leonard
VIN:  XL2shn357052a
The car is white (was)(is)
Canadian bumpers
Cosmic rims (2 center caps missing comes with spacers)
New wheel flares I picked up from mini spares london 2001
Webasto sunroof (refitted icbc claim as it was slashed in ‘98 (one of the 3 hinges of the visor are missing(passenger))
Roll Bar (not mounted but had all brackets fabricated)
Louvered rear plastic window shield (not sure what it is called)
New rockers, floor pans, rear valance, but dent in rear quarter panel at the tail lamp (impact) crudely filled by myself with bondo, I suck at that
Tach mounted on column
Green sticker on rear “Save the planet kill yourself” I found amusing
Had old sears jack stands in it (the crappy pin ones from the 70’s)
Missing rotor as i needed it for my dad’s mg
Spare radiator
Holes in rear shelf for oval speakers
Extra hubcaps with those ugly tin outer rings (for the wheels on the car not the cosmics)
License plate FFT-540
Chrome eyebrows

Thanks
