Oh, and counterclockwise means it's turning in the opposite direction than a normal analog clock....

Is that rollie eyes? Awesome! I am awe struck by the power of the rollie eye, can we keep it?

You are correct with the direction the rotor moves (counter-clockwise) and the firing order. However, your positions are in reverse order. If #1 is lower left, the distributor drive is 180 out - not a big deal. Following with that, #3 would be lower right, #4 upper right, #2 upper left.

Ideal is #1 in upper right, #3 upper left, #4 lower left and #2 lower left.

Confirm via the piston and valves being at TDC of compression stroke for #1 and look at where the rotor is pointing. Then proceed from there.

rotor moves counter clockwise, firing order 1342, on the dist. #1 is at the 7:00 position ( lower left)

next #3 is at 10:00 position (upper left) next is #4 2:00 position (upper right position), last is #2

in the 4:00 position (lower right ) ????
