It's pretty bulky as you have the Blower Motor, Evaporator, Pipes,Pulleys, Brackets and the Pump.  The Pump is VERY heavy for its size?  I sent a rebuilt Auto Box to a guy in Vancouver a few years ago, and the shipping by Air Freight was around £150, but a LOT cheaper than what UPS wanted.  This lot would be lighter than an Autobox.

If you have the '97 MPI A/C system and are willing to sell it - I would take it. If the whole package is too clumsy to post to the USA, I would just take the mounting bracket for the compressor and/or any extra tensioning pulleys that go along with it. Anyone in the UK with such a bracket for sale can make some coin off of me...

I have some Mini heaters i could trade you Jim as you may have a use for them, its 95 degrees here in Florida i have no use for them.

Is there no diagram at all? I think the old Astro Air instructions also had hand-drawn diagrams. I'm going to see if I can figure this out... but ensuring that it can fit is why I think other people besides myself were asking about the fitting directions.

This kit looks like the Asian kits that were on the market a couple of years ago and came with limited instructions, i know someone who installed one and said it took a while to sort out but worked fine.

AC for classic Mini is still for sale, I didn't have time to follow through with sale last yr.

I don't know much about it, was purchased from an individual in Cal. with some (very basic) hand written instructions.

It would appear to me that some professional help may be needed unless you are AC literate.

What you see is what you get, saying that it appears everything is there for a complete installation.

If your truly interested call me 231-838-4218

Also interested in this kit for a 1991 LHD Mainstream 1275cc carb'd side-rad'ed Cooper...

Still for sale?

If not, who's the manufacturer/original seller?

Thanks! Jim

I doubt it will fit an MPI with a front mounted radiator. Jap minis kept side mounted raditators just to keep a/c in the cars.

Looks similar but will that fit an A+ engine and also is there a tensioner in the system to tension the compressor belt. I have sent you a message via the contact us section of your website so when you have time if you can get back to me would appreciate it

Thank you

Is this what you are looking for? Not rover...

Any possibility of scanning or sending it in a Pm to me curious to see how it all goes together. Is there a website it is available on.

Thank you
