Long sold.... unless you plan on building a track only vehicle I cannot recommend a motorcycle swap either due to chain and clutch maintenance along with the entire subframe having to be removed for clutch maintenance. Get yourself a nice Stout a series and call it a day

I have had this car for sale for some time and have dropped the price by nearly half. I am taking a huge loss on this car but I need it gone. The car is listed in the classifieds but I wanted to drum up some interest in the forums. Hope I'm not bothering anyone.

I will be swapping out the chain and sprockets tomorrow for EK brand stuff. It currently has a D.I.D. chain on it and the EKs are what all the big horsepower bikes use. My friend said he got over 5k miles out of his.

Anyways. Thanks for your interest. Pass the word along!

All work was done by the best shop for Mini Coopers on the west coast //www.heritagegarage.com/

Please do not call the shop tire kicking, email me first. They have gotten too many tirekicking calls.. Thanks.

Uploaded Some Video Goodness! Enjoy!

A full rundown and explanation of the car taken just days ago!

A Lamborghini Gallardo gets a big surprise from a small package. hilarious

Some Night Driving:

Some Mullholland, excuse my friends poor camera work:

Highway cruising in 6th at 70mph

Picking up my friend on Mullholland, he screwed up filming me driving by...

Suicide Bridge in Pasadena CA, turn down your speakers, the audio is screwy sorry.

Filling her up with gas and enjoying some Metallica, And justice for all on the freeway!

It is the first and only pro-motive I know of running and driveable in the United States. Unless someone can correct me. Its been a while since I browsed the forums. It is complete, was built to be comfortable with a nice new interior, corbeau seats and full stereo complete with subwoofer in the rear deck. Top of the line parts, top of the line fabrication and more man hours than I'd like to admit. I have every receipt on this car and all documentation.

It'd be a great toy for the guy that has it all. The car is located in Socal and will be at every Supercar Sunday at the end of every month if you want to hear it run and see it run in person. I have too many projects and am unable to drive the mini as much as I'd like.

I have all the paperwork on hours/labor, parts. I also have videos and over 289 photos documenting the build/transformation. This thing was NOT an easy car to build. But it draws crowds more than a live real elvis come back to life on hollywood. blvd.

This has been a long project for me. I started with a clean 1970 Austin mini 1275 that was purple at one point and someone painted black. So it has a black/plum color that only shows at certain angles in the sun.

Over 3 years gathering parts from the UK and the time change never helped. They seem to work on a different schedule when it comes to business in the UK.The swap is based on a company in the UK called promotive. Typical power is 170bhp.

This is Kit 36 out of 40 in the world and the only one in the US that I am aware of that has this fit and finish. I had the car built with the intention of daily driving it, but once I got it all together I realized it was a bit too wild as a daily.

The R1 I purchased is a Yamaha 2003 5PM Fuel Injected motor

The swap involved the following:
Yamaha R1 5PW 2002-2003 Injected
Yamaha R1 wiring Loom
Pro-motive R1 Kit #35
Quaife ATB limited slip differential
Wiring looms converted
Subframe Core Exchange charge
Pro-Motive Reverse Gearbox
K&N Air Filter and Carbon Fiber Box
2003 R1 Voltage Regulator
2003 R1 Ecu/CDI box
Barnett Carbon Fiber Clutch
Barnett Clutch Conversion Kit
Koso RX-1N GP Speedometer
Dynojet Power Commander 405-411EX
Scottoiler Automatic Chain Luber
Dual Radiator Setup
Suspension was gone through completely and replaced with all aluminum adjustable equipment.
3" Exhaust with extra resonator to quiet the engine down further.
AP Racing MG OEM disk brakes

Misc Items include:
WHITE INTERIOR DOME LAMP
Nardi 330mm Drift Steering Wheel
VTO Performance 13x7 Superlite Wheels
Nardi Steering Wheel
Mountney Steering wheel hub
Hella E Code Headlamps
Corbeau GTS II Seats
Fresh Carpet, vinyl wrapped dash, Rear Leather Wrapped seat to match the Corbeaus.
Leather boots for the shifter and the ebrake.
Kenwood Head unit with Aux input and micro usb at head unit. I use my droid 2 to stream pandora.
Image Dynamics Speakers 6" in the doors
Image Dynamics Freeair 10" Subwoofer
Arc Audio KS Series Amplifier
CDT Audio Pillar tweeters
Sound Dampening
Keyless Entry with 2 keyfobs
New Lenses for rear tail lights and blinkers
New grille
Mini Lite Gold 13x7 wheels
Continental 195/45-13 Wheels. These are SUPER RARE and impossible to find.

The car has easily of documented 160 hours of labor into it and is the fastest FWD car I've ever been in. The butt pucker factor is HIGH once you get above 7000 rpms and it will stretch its legs all the way to 12,500rpm.

Shifting is sequential like a motor cycle. Mechanical reverse knob is mounted just below the shifter. You can go through all 6 speeds in reverse if you were crazy enough. I got the center column dropped for the driver so its less like a schoolbus, and had the interior gone through. New carpet, dash vinyl, rear seat, rear deck, new leather boots for the shifter and ebrake.

Car will be for sale after I check the clutch and chain for its new owners.

1/40 in the world.

Its number #36

Current Changes from the pictures: The hood has been debadged, R1 emblem added to trunklid, black plate CA plates. New interior, carpet, custom rear seat and interor work. Dual Radiators, Fresh sprockets and chain, Fresh clutch and throwout bearing. Train horn, badging, and Pro-Motive logo removed from airbox.
