Highly entertaining and quite informative, love seeing each new episode.  I would think when the project is complete you could enter the series in a film festival or have for showing at ANY Mini meet throughout the world.  The sheet metal cutting and bending you do just blows my mind, such skill and forethought.

Keep up the good work!

Hey have you looked into picking up sponsors???

AMAZING WORK! I wish I could have you complete my wagon, but I am afraid it wouldn't be any type of challenge. It is some great work and I can not wait to see it complete (as much as a Mini can be). And the documentation is fabulously entertaining, I love watching the episodes with all the humor and wit.  Great job.

I was just quoting the man, not trying to start a deep pholosophical "discussion"! My first car was an Austin Mini Countryman which was slightly over 10 feet. More of a dig at VTEC cnversions that included lengthening a Mini by 3" or so.

That being said, were Elfs ever marketed with the word "Mini" in their maker or mode name?

Yep.

Okay, so the header and the text use the word 'mini' as an adjective, but it isn't capitalized as in "Mini".

Still not avertized as a "Mini Elf" IMHO. But keep digging!

And as for Miguel's post, yes, the S.A. model was marketed as a Mini, but not as an "Elf".

(Don't get me wrong - I like Elfs and just about any other variant of the MIni.)

So amazing, so entertaining. I can't wait to see this thing come to completion, but at the same time, will be sad that the video series will be over.

Dan,

Yes, yes they did!

South African Leykor Mini Mk.3, hybrid between Mini and Elf/Hornet. Regular Mini front but with the elf boot.

Now, to continue with the tread:

The work you guys are doing its amazing. Can't wait to see the next chapter and the final result.

Awe inspiring work!! You make it look so easy, I wish I had the experience and the ability to accomplish half of the things you do! Amazing work, and the video is fun enough to actually be on TV. Great video and above great work, keep it up and that car will be terrorizing the streets in no time.

my 13yr old son just discovered Monty Python - We watched the Holy Grail, you guys have given some proper nods that way. Will have to watch more MP to see whatever other little treasures you have hidden in your videos (it's been a very long time since I've watched any MP). Maybe an intro with "And now for something completely different..." (Please leave your coveralls on...) What happens when your episodes are played backwards?
