There is one somewhere around Auburn CA that I have seen, all origional red car still sporting the 850, and an origional california car from what I remember. Even had the correct delux grill with the extra bars.

Yes, for Garry, and my curiosity.

Garry has been helping me figure out early Mini temperature gauges, so I'm returning the favor.

Friend here had one...just sold off the project in springtime.  I may have the SN somewhere.... I have the original licence plate (1961)

Hi Chuck,

I had one a few years ago.  It was Almond green with the green and grey interior.  It had been the victim of some cool custom work like massive flares, striped velour fabric over the factory vinyl, and an awful Madda-type dash.  I sold it to a guy in the Seattle area.

The Mini Supers were built from September 1961 to October 1962. Add a 997cc engine and 7" disc brakes and you'd have a Cooper.

I know of two in the U.S.. One is is Portland, Oregon, and one was at the Rockford Mini Meet (2004). I keep hearing about someone who knows someone who knows someone with a Super, but none of the rumors have been confirmed.

If you own a Super, or know someone who does and have information about the car, let me know.

edit: changed to Oct 62!
