Hi Firebro17,

Thank you! I do happen to have one Mk.II Cooper S, you missed it.

What a wonderful collection! I may have missed it, but by chance do you have a 1970 Austin Cooper S MkII brochure that I might view?

Aloha Miguel,

Do you happen to have a photo with the John Cooper figure that came in the boxed set? Thanks for posting!           Mini Estate

Rick-

Yes that was the centre piece of my mini model collection-

I paid it forward a couple of years ago to my webmaster "RYAN A" here on the board- He ,next to Miguel has probably one of the most extensive mini model collections around-

I will see that he sends you a copy-Maybe now that he is into 3-D printing he can make you copies (LOL)

Thanks BigAl and Minestate for the kind words and engcouragement. It really is a lot of work, but what's the point of keep this stuff if one is not going to share them.

Miniestate, I'm sure that set went to a good home, unfortunately, it wasn't mine. I never owned this model.

However, here's a picture.

Aloha Big AL!

Hey, special request. I no longer have a photo of the 'Cooper Car Company' Mini Van and Racing Saloon with the car trailer that I sold you all those years ago. Can you post it here and/or maybe send a photo to my email? I'm sure you must still have that little treasure. The only thing it was missing was the little John Cooper figure. Kinda kicking myself over letting that go. Oh well, it went to a good home. Thanks! (I mean Mahalo Brah! You da bomb!)               Mini Estate

Thanks Miguel, l also echo the words of Rick, great job-

I will be ordering the one with white roof and also will order the "works" version when it be-comes available-

The works model is a take off of the unit restored by Fred Stanworth in the UK, whilst Fred had re-engineered his unit to have a drop out back with a ramp to carry two minis, the actual factory ones never had this feature-

I also see they have models of the Austin, K8 3 way van which was the basis for my Mini Mover (1949 Austin COE diesel Lorry)=

Aloha Miguel!

Very special thanks to you my friend for the countless hours of work and research that you have so kindly shared with all the rest of us!!! Wow!!! Your thoroughness and diligence is so much appreciated. I can totally relate to the time and patience it takes to just research one single model or subject in relation to anything Mini. Your die-cast Mini model collection is legendary. Your Mini brochure collection and references make you the unsung hero of modern times! Thanks again Miguel!   Mini Estate

Hi Al,

Yes, they are being produced by Oxford Diecast in 1/76

So far they have done two versions:

Available here:

//www.oxforddiecast.co.uk/76/76BMC001%20BMC%20Mobile%20Training%20Unit.html

//www.oxforddiecast.co.uk/76/76BMC002%20BMC%20Mobile%20Unit%20BL%20Special%20Tuning%20Department.html

They are slightly different as the Special Tuning one has a ramp.

And this one is coming soon:

Regards,

Miguel

Hahaha, I preffer the original.

Down to my 5th Mini, and we have loved them all despite their issues and I miss them all.

Not a partucular fan of the "copy", I driven a few of them, they are nice but they don't make me smile nor makes my blood pump harder in the same way the "original" does.

I currently own an Fiat 500 Abarth, is not a Mini, but It's almost as good as the old Mini in terms of happiness and amusement.

Love the French brochure..."what do you prefer...the original or a copy?" I've had both...5 originals, 1 "copy". All had their own reasons to love them.

Hi all,

I just included 5 new great brochures to the website. (The pictures represent the 5 brochures so they can be easily identified).

//www.minipassionmini.com/pictures/brochures.htm

They were a gift from someone in this community which requested to remain anonymous.  Thank you very much Mr. M! I loved them!

My pleasure ve9aa

Nope sorry. NO City E 87, but if I get one I will let you know

The closest ones to your car are the 85 Mini E (same car without the City name).

Minicord,

I browsed through a few of them and wanted to say thanks for the fun reading.

Although my specific car does not seem to be there, there are some that are very close.  Close enough I could see some of the original specs etc like gas mileage etc. which I found interesting.

Buried somewhere I have a paper brochure of the blue 1970;'s CDN spec Mini.

//www.minipassionmini.com/pdf/Austin%20Mini%201979%20CDN.pdf

So much has changed on my car that it's not really that car anymore, but it was still cool to read ;-)

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks Terry and Spitz,

Spit, that's a great find! Too bad the brochure has no prices. Would be nice to compare how good you did.

I just counted, I have 170 brochures in my collection, so, I'd reckon at least 155 are available on PDF. Must be the largest Mini brochure collection published on the internet.
