Everybody on here has a Classic Mini.
If you don't want to be tinkering, fettling and repairing stuff every few weeks (includes routine maintenance) then a Mini probably isn't for you...
I'm guessing you are in the UK as you link to a British insurer. If the car is over 15 years old, and you are over 25, then Footman James are very hard to beat.
There are also plenty of local clubs about to enthuse you and offer a helping hand if you do decide to get one.

Anyone on here got a Classic Mini? The older the better!
What's the drive like and the wear and tear - I'm looking to get one but I don't want to be repairing it every 5 minutes. I've never had a Mini before but I really like the idea of having a classic one.
I've tried to do my research around - got some prices off eBay and checked the insurance prices these guys seemed the best - anyone used them?
I'm just after some advice really on the best way to go with this.
Thanks!
