right now, my dash is a 2 clock clubbie. It's not mounted but lays almost horizontally in the parcel shelf. It's incredibly easy for me to read in this plane, and I might keep it mounted that way. I'll have to experiment with it a bit. I always found the center clock hard to look at when driving partly because it was in a vertical plane, and mostly because it's not right in front of me, and I have to look away from the road. And yes, I'm comparing an early speedo with a later one.

Minus the BINI dashes, I hit the proverbial Motherload Mikey!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mini Estate
//www.minimania.com/Many_Mini_Dashes_at_Mini_Meet_West_2011
P.S. It takes awhile to load up! (I liked these three dashes in particular in the lineup) >>>>>>
I have #34 or something very similar. Anyone know what it's called?
#34 Looks to me like a mildly modified ROKEE dash. I have had a couple.
That one has a couple extra gauges in the center pod than is normally 'stock'.
I don't know the history of ROKEE, but they were apparently popular in Canada in the 1970's. Elsewhere? I dunno.
~ 30 minutes in a Mini is more therapeutic than 3 sessions @ the shrink. ~

Rick,
thanks. I love that Jag dash in the lime green car. It's what I want mine to look like. Oh, that IS my car.
Love all the dash pix. thanks. (except the digi stuff on the classic cars).
the weather in the northeast has warmed and I might get this wired up.

Mike, here's mine probably not what you want but it's clean and neat compared to what was in my car.

I'm guess I'm just old school. Not wanting pix of digi dashes folks. Thanks for the effort. Anyone got some sweet shots of analog gauges fitted in style?

superfly,
wrong coast otherwise I'd be there with my tools and wire cutters.
I've got one, and don't need more until I get this sorted, then maybe make up a kit for the board folks who might want to do one.

I have a fiberglass one that I put in the for sale section but can't find it now. You can have it if you can pick it up... I know of a few real jaguar dashes you can have too if you want to pull them,,,,,
I think it is a Les Leston orig but has holes cut in it //www.minimania.com/part/ABSMS066/Mini-60s-Les-Leston-Style-Dashboard-Fiberglass $400 for a repop??!! I'll trade it for a Les Steering wheel or a decent rear sub complete...
//sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/4426806090.html - I have it on CL now that I know what it is... Yes, shameless....

Rick,
I don't know why you've saved 'that' pic also. It's enough to make me puke. I'm hoping it's not a classic mini.
I appreciate the effort. I'll get a shot of a 'mock-up' up here when the weather warms up this weekend.
I've got a 2 clock cluster that I might incorporate into the dash, or get a single speedo and single tach. The jag dash has separate water, oil pressure, amp, temp, and can't remember what else, but also has a row of 9 toggle switches along the bottom of the panel. Can you say retro?
going into a clubbie saloon.
