We have purchased several s short blocks over the years and we have found out that the enb 40 cranks do not store well.  Many times after magnaflux we have found cracks and if they are good they don't take the stress like a new one.  I don't mean to rain on a parade, it's just that the buyer should mag the crank before using it.

I sent emails out to a few folks who I knew would be interested, and I think my friend has a buyer, and if they want to tell anyone the price then maybe I'll know and maybe I can tell you guys.

Still, speculate away.  I am starting to think this is more of a $5000.oo item when I had initially thought it was in the $2500 range.  Our host sells complete drivetrains at a competitive price with other mini parts suppliers, and knowing the input costs those drivetrains are pretty good deals.

It turns out that this block is std. bore with only 0.001 wear, and the crank is std/std and looks fine.

Mur. Maybe Looney wants it.

Totally is.  The 3/4 ton van was full of stuff!  Much of it stuff you already have in your garage, and again in the attic of your garage, and identical to stuff I have helped you throw out over the years.

I helped a friend load up a cache of mini parts today, there was some interesting stuff there.  One portion of these parts that will probably be sold is a thick flange Cooper S block, crank, head, rods, rockers, flywheel clutch and dampner.  It is a gold seal unit, and has a corresponding tag on the block denoting it as such.
