Some Vancouver Mini Club members got a jump on the 2015 driving season last Friday-Sunday...taking part in the multiple marque Classic Car Adventures 'Spring Thaw'...which featured, rain, sleet, hail...though the weather was fabulous on the last day over the Duffy Lake Road.

They are all set to enjoy Mini Meet West!

Two more Classic Mini long haul drivers are registered for MMW, both old friends - Bob Overdorff & Al Frost, New Port Richey, Florida.  We will be happy to welcome them!  Though not driving their Classics (would be a +6,000 mile return trip).

[NOTE - both are members of the North American Classic Mini Brigade...so nothing to prove]

One never knows who might decide to attend a Mini Meet West...I hope everyone is interested in meeting Oleg Bilenko, Chubinske, Kyiv Region, Ukraine (though he is not bringing his Mini)!

Just a reminder of a few key dates.. keep the registrations coming... the registration packages are being prepared as people register so I've got several boxes of completed bags waiting for the day! Just finalizing with a few more sponsors, so watch the website for thos additions.  Thanks to everyone for the support.. should be a great event.

Deadlines to be aware of:

• Host Hotel will be holding the block of rooms until April 28, 2015. After that date they will not guarantee the rate.
• Registration: Deadline May 10, 2015.
• After May 10th please add $25 late fee.
• After June 1st, no guarantee of meals or memorabilia.

Should work fine, but check with your cell provider as there will be roaming charges.. you may be able to get a temp plan to avoid these charges..

Just wondering. How do you think US based cell phones will work.
