Alex, Mike and I drove up for the day to see Herman's mini. My son Alex is so busy with his music he gets about 5 days off at schools end and a three day weekend just before school starts back in the fall. He may have to day trip to the meet. Steve (CTR)

Zan, sounds like the girl is still kicking but and taking names. I haven't bee to an event since you collected your car from P Mustang and his crowd. Son Alex is 14 and very into his music. Lets make plans to have our boys and minis there. I'm two thirds of the way there for you. Steve (CTR)

I haven't been to a Mini Meet since Charleston in 2002 with my (then) 5 year old daughter, Victoria. My wife was VERY pregnant with our son so we waited too long to book a room. By the time we decided it was safe to go, there were no rooms close to the venue so we camped. A word of advice - NEVER camp in Charleston in July. Vic and I roasted! As miserable as the weather was, we had a blast.

Since 2004, we have been tied up with the AAU Taekwando national tournament on Mini Meet week. If the meet will be at the end of June next year, we have a chance of making it. One more reason to get the Mini back on the road. 10.5 hours from home - wonder if my mechanical skills are up to the challenge. If we make it, my son William will be the navigator this time.

YES !   We're ready and excited to put on an event packed Mini Meet on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. 

Awesome area, lots of history, tourism, and fantastic Seafood.

Hi everyone, yes it has been decided Mini Meet East will be held in Saint Michaels,Maryland.on june 22-26 because as soon as the 4th of july comes around the prices go up on hotel rooms here in town.As for traffic thing, the first traffic light is 9 miles out of town heading to Easton, we will be having another meeting at my house in August to put forward a plan on events and other things associated with putting on a meet. We will also try to have a website set up in the near future with pics and other info on the event,as soon as these things happen i will post it here. Cheers Minsuki. Chris.

MMW2015 will be co-hosted by the Victoria Minis Car Club and the Vancouver Mini Club (classic).  

 

MMW2015 Minis in the Valley will be held in Abotsford BC June29 - July 2.

Thanks for the update.  I look forward to an official announcement.

Hopefully the meet will fall after June 26th - putting it into the school summer holidays.  This would make it easier for more Canadian families to attend.

Either way, I'm sure it will be a great event!

Having been to more mini meets than I care to talk about I can say I could complain about something from each one.  At the end of the day those are the things you remember most.  did your air work in 2001?  do you remember or are you saying to yourself "it must have worked or I would remember it".

move on and enjoy what you have.  

I met Chris at St. Michaels last fall when our Sunbeam club held their annual show there.  What a wonderful place!  We are sure looking forward to going back there with the Mini.  Lots of interesting shops in the downtown area, great seafood everywhere and an Irish pub downtown, boat cruises, plenty of small towns to drive to and explore.  Hotel room was very reasonable and nice.   Traffic?  What traffic?  Just small towns.  Thanks guys for offering to host MME-I will be glad to share info from when we were there and help out.  Eric
