That's what a guy i work with thought it may be, I need some help with finding someone in my area to look at and hopefully know of a machine shop that could do the work. Thanks though at least I'm on the right track.

Sounds a lot like a valve guide and seal issue. You may want to pull the cyl head and have a proper valve job done on it. If possible have a compression test and a leak down test done before pulling the head. Steve (CTR)

Hello I'm new to the mini world and need some help diagnosing a engine problem with my mini, when you first start it up it lets out a cloud of smoke and when you sit at corner or stop light when you take off it lets out a cloud of smoke. I'm from near London Ontario a would like to find someone in my area that I could bring the car to and help me figure out what needs to be done to it.
