The Mk3 Elf/Hornet was the first in the range to get windup windows, ~'66/67.

If you look at the inside of the passenger door, the architecture seems to be similar to a Mk3 Elf - based entirely on the position of the door pull.

I'm suspecting a home-brewed windup conversion, with the Mk1 outside & frame and a Mk3 inside welded together.

The MK-I and MK-II Elf/Hornet variants appear to have had the sliding windows and external hinges.

It is the MK-III Elf/Hornet that got the windup windows (and unfortunately internal hinges). These got them before the regular Mini Saloon by about 2 years (per the Wikipedia article covering the Elf/Hornet variant).

The doors on the Clint Eastwood Estate are most likely "bespoke" from someplace like Radford.

I would suggest Clint's doors are probabaly well labelled as such - they're not Oz doors...maybe bespoke?

Although, didn't early Elf/Hornet's come with one piece glass windups??? If so, I'm pretty sure sure thay would fit an Austin/Morris of simiar vintage.

Waiting for the answer on this question, "didn't early Elf/Hornet's come with one piece glass windups???" Thanks Ian.       Mini Estate

Never heard of a Heinz MK2.  The only Heinz Mini type of car was a MK2 Woseley Hornet that was modified for a sweepstakes giveaway back in the 60's.  Those 57 cars had doors that were the same as MK1 Mini doors.  You must be thinking about Australian Mini doors (OZ).  For those, there were several different variations AFIK, so some would fit and some would not.

Hi Ya,

Well, that's my question. I heard that the Heinz MKII doors w/wind up windows and external door hinges will fit a MKI Mini? Just curious. Thanks.
