I would think the fiberglass ones would hold their shape better when cut at the body seam, also they would be easier to add fiberglass mat to the backside if you did need to re inforce them.

I will be using these on my mini with a flip front all steel for my vtec car,what do you guys reccomend? They will each have to be cut for the flip front so I'm worried about possibly them losing shape or just what will look best...I'm not familiar with these cars as well as you guys so I'd appreciate your opinions.
