To be honest I'm not into car shows etc...sounds cool though but not my thing.I'm not a fan of new minis at all either...not even the slightest bit.In fact I don't even like building cars....I like driving them and racing.

JerseyMini, Don't know if you're aware but this Friday the 8th, a ' Mini Takes The States ' cross country rally will stop at Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pa. It's mainly a newer MINI meet but the local MINI/BMW dealer is an old mini collector too so there should be a few classics there too, including my Minitec mini. The minis will be meeting in the Sands casino lot, between 7&9 pm.

Don't know if your car is completed yet but thought I'd let you know since you're probably only an hour away. Also, check out my ad I just posted if you didn't already buy your tires and wheels. Jack

Shops that work on scooters such as Vespas and the like usually have the equipment to do that job. Afterall, alot of scooters have 10s.

I have 10x7, and it was not so much the width, as the height. Most places around here only go down to 12" these days. I found a small shop downtown that sold used tires.... they were excstatic to mount my fancy polished wheels. The took very nice care of them, and did a great job. As far as tire width... Yoko A032r's 165/70r10's. I find it not as bad as 175 on a 13x7. Very very mild stretch. But make your own decision. Alignment, same deal, very hard to find places that can put there equipment on 10" wheels as well. But they can be found, just got to call around. I am sure there are some locals that have 10's that can point you in the right direction.

Interesting... what sort of tyres are you going to mount on 10x7s???  That may be you first issue right there....

IMHO 10x6 is pushing it with all the known 165 road tyres...

Cheers, Ian

As the title says...

I have a minitec MTD frame and need to get it adjusted ad sorted out...like to talk to a place with knowledge because I want the car to work properly and have traction.Obviously from what people on here have said is these cars need to be properly sorted for them to get traction, I plan to race the car a little as well as cruise it.

Also I have 10x7s and need tires mounted...any ideas? I'm in New Jersey but PA,Delaware are close by as well.thanks.
