//dictionary.reference.com/browse/leisure

it says " freedom from the demand of work and duty,

freedom from having to kick that clutch pedal and annoying shifter, lol

im comparing the driveability between mini and rav4 as far as automatic transmission is concerned.

ill give you guys a tip, when you read a paragraph, or a topic, try to understand the context, so even if the spelling is incorrect or capital letters are not provided, the gist and the entire context that one is trying to imply will still be understandable 2u.

2u  means "to you"

you guys are nice and helpful to me thats why i try my best to teach you about the world of texting, life is all about short cuts after all

I assume that you like to type with your thumbs. But, it would really help us old farts understand what you're trying to say if you could find some way of using upper case letters and periods where they're needed.

Serously, I'm having a real problem trying to figure out what you're saying.
Are you trying to compare a Mini with a Rav4?? Why not compare the Rav4 to a Hummer?

Let me try to translate the last line; It's leisure, I suppose, to have to step on the clutch pedal and shift gears.
Was I even close?

Lol ( all over myself ).
You really need to try one out.

They can be a blast to drive.  I've had a couple and I think I rarely drove it in "D" or "4".  Driving it semi-automatically was great.  Also, on ice you can easily pull away in 2nd or 3rd keeping wheel spin to a min.

As for "driving a classic MINI should be a leisure"   ( did you mean pleasure? )...anyway, it IS you ninny...lol

If anyone is interested, the gearbox I mentioned above is available FOR FREE! I am tired of tripping over it, sorry I will not ship, just come get it. AP2 Automatic located zipcode 21012. Again, for FREE, I do have gaskets and new clutch packs available for a small price. Cheers.

Steve, I may be interested in the entire unit depending on details. Keep me in mind. Cheers. Any use with a spare box? I really do like the later AP2 gearboxes.

John, yes I still have your 998 auto power unit complete. I would like very much to find it a real home. With fall clean up coming I may strip it and keep the head, crank, rods and brackets and bin the balance. I lave a complete 1275 late Jap spec power unit coming this fall. I'll need the room. I am asking $100 for the gearbox, and $125 for the new bands, seals, clutch packs, etc. Would be ideal for pickup as it is rather... heavy. But could possibly be shipped, as this was originally shipped by I believe UPS or Fedex.

Hmmm... I've taken lots of calls lately for the CVT Unit for the Gen 1 Base model BINI  (that's BMW MINI for folks not versed in or aware of the "real" Mini)... Guys are 'snapping' them up at auctions thinking easy fix.... Problem is, they have a $3500 car with an $8000 problem....      I wonder if that's what you mean by "late Model"?

You don't have a email address in your profile. I have a 1275 A+ AP2 Auto gearbox I am selling for cheap as spares or repairs. I have new bands, forward clutch packs, and most seals to go with it. Email me.
