Coolish at the site of the old toll booths (still early).
Though not smiling, happy with the steady pull from the Buick V6 on the long steep snowshed hill.
Hit the bottom at 75 mph in 4th, walked up without adding throttle and topped at 75 mph. Could have accelerated but that would have been speeding!

Trying not to drive distracted Spitz!
Fortunately little traffic on Hwy. 1 near Chilliwack. Almost none on the Coquihalla from Hope to Merritt but more folks up and about late morning so busier to Kamloops and quite busy on Hwy. 1 east from Kamloops...and road construction delays. I must have known long delays were in the offing.

Last bit of look over this a.m. Mousy then up the Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops and east to Salmon Arm tomorrow a.m.
Will still have a complete, never apart, rebuildable 3.2 litre Buick V6 to move along...
With turn in the weather should be a great day for a "top off" drive into the interior. Common problem with roll bars is that the soft top sits up like a pram top on the legs to the rear arches. (one of our mods was to drill out the pivot pins, weld in captive nuts on the soft top mounting brackets so top can come off, go on almost instantly)

Soon I can get back to playing with ROO! Photo: blown wheel bearings on Day 68 of Australian drive about.

Not directly related to Minis...
But the new Holley carb was setup yesterday on the Buick V6 - CO, CO2, HC etc. and the initial timing set back 5 degrees.
Soon ready to go to a new home...(and here comes the Mini bit)...the garage will have room for ROO, the Mini trailer and, before too long, that smooth roof '62 Woodie project can get underway.
