Turns out its 1 3/16" and needed to be slightly ground. Would it benefit me to drill a 1/16" hole in it? Our parts store had some just sitting in an unlabeled drawer all mismatched and told me if it fit I could have it! Gotta love VT!

Looked don't have one at the house. They go up in 1/64s or something crazy like that. Most hit even numbers. 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8 15/16 and 1. Not many machine shops stock deep any longer. All the new stuff is metric. You know I'm not sure but it seems there is a 1/16 hole drilled in the center of those plugs. Am I crazy or have I seen a tiny worm of grease coming from the center of a plug? Steve (CTR)

I wasn't sure if there was a range as far as the expansion of the cups went or if I had to find one right on size. So, I will measure it and buy the closest size I can to it. Thanks guys!

Thanks Steve! You wouldn't by any chance know the size...

It is a freeze plug, disc type rather than cup tupe. If you place the old one on a socket just smaller than O/D and hit in center of concave side with ball end of ball peen you can reinstall and tap center other side with other end of hammer and it will swell. Steve (CTR)

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not the plug on the driveshaft yoke was replaceable or if I have to try and find a new one. Would a freeze fit in there? Or is that a bad idea.
