The funny thing is "Winnie the Pooh" was not a childhood favorite of mine (Robert Falcon Scott the explorer was) and only surfaced as I worked on the russet or "poo" brown Mini 1000 with my wife pacing the driveway reading about Pooh's Expotion to the North Pole.
Having a little fun followed as the Mini 1000 dubbed "Pooh" set out across Canada to MME in Quebec and, after a rebuild with trailer dubbed "Hunny Pot", went to MMW in Prescott and across the states to MME in Maryland.
The Australian Van naturally enough was dubbed "Roo" and went on its own adventures down under before coming to travel about in North America to MMEMW this year and who knows what next?
There is bound to be another "expotition"!

Global National news story tonight...the 100th anniversary - August 24, 1914 - of the beginning of Winnie Ther Pooh, all the stories, friends like Tigger, Kanga & Roo....
Most Americans won't get the history. Canada went to war with Great Britain in 1914. The US joined the conflict in 1917.
Nonetheless....
