All fair criticism Chuck but since chrome is the state color in California, especially southern Califiornia, we should give the man a break on that.  Now, I'm not sayin' I like chrome Minilites

My question is, what will a nice 1071 fetch on ebay?  Would it bring more at a high profile auction?

1071s were made for more than a year.

His is not an early 1071 but having been made in December 1963 it is about in the middle of the run.

The recliner seats were not available until around 1965.

Minis with white tops should have to earn them, and Minilites should never be chrome.

It would be interesting to know if the car was all red when built (there were monotone 1071s factory made) as indicated on the Heritage Certificate or if the Certificate is incorrect.

I called the seller out on the no disk brake claim.
