eric mogilever (sp) , or motohealer on ebay, from canada way was selling them for several years and importing them to the states as 1980 datsun/nissan b210's. would that be a revin? rebrand? or relabel?

Not at all US legal, and can't be reVINned like a Mini.

Don't know if they can or can't be Re-VINed like a Mini, but I do know where there is one in Florida that didn't just appear when the Big Bang happened.

Lovely wee Cars, built on the Nissan Micro chassis. Reliable little cars and hold their values. I would imagine if you like Minis then these cars would appeal to you as well. They only came in 4 colours to symbolize the 4 seasons. They have a cult following in Japan, just like our Classic Minis.

I believe Nissan also released the Pao at the same time as the Figaro. I wonder what car they were trying to mimic?

Hmmmm........I wonder what other brand of car some people might feel that way about??Tongue Out

Figaro's are a fairly common sight on the roads here in NZ, or at least in Auckland City. I followed one homelast week. Most have come into the country as used imports. I just checked on a Japanese auction site and there are 11 of them listed this week.

There's one in Portland with dealer plates. Usually shows up at the Micro-Car Show alongside similar ungainly looking cars like a Messerschmidt or GoGoMobile.

I know they are unique. I know they are not legal in the states. Not sure whether I would really be interested in one...just curious.

I have not heard anything about the quality of them.

A fellow here in town has one.  I find them a little ugly actually.  The remind me a little of the attempted relaunch of the T-bird ( fail )

1000cc turbo charged I believe.

I've seen several for sale here in CA, but we can get them when 15yrs old

Do any of you happen to know ANYTHING about Nissan Figaros? I know they were a retro looking car which they made only for a couple of years in the early 90s. They LOOK very unique. They were never imported into the states. That is basically all I know about them.
