That is not where the lug wrench goes.  It would have been in a pouch along with the jack, stowed in the boot.  And yes, the bootboard would secure into the rubber there.  FWIW, the spare (9 hole rim) looks awful wide to me, and the 1071 would have had much narrower wheels standard.  Nice lookig car though, it's just a shame the interior looks so blah!

Nice looking Mini, but for that kind of money it should be 100% correct.  That means the correct interior, wheels, boot board, and lower trim moulding...just to name the obvious.

Would I sell my Longman cylinder head by only describing it as an "old ratty turd replacement head"?  Nope.

But why am I trying to humor Todd?  His Mini is autographed by a fellow with an accent who won a big race awhile back.

That's sure how they did look. Didn't have to worry about people leaning on it, a hot summer day. Take the skin off a fore arm. Steve (CTR)

Changed out distributor, no brake booster, not sure on oil cooler, twin tanks, changed out interior - but nice nonetheless.

I'll bet it would cost 50K to build one like it, as the ad says.
