My main sticking point is the engine, I really woukld like an S engine in there. The other stuff is superficial. Just gotta start saving!!!

Ron Your mini is nice as it is. Why change a good thing?

I personally wouldn't take it back to Hydro once it has been converted to dry.  Since you aren't going for a 100 point concours car I think the dry suspension is much more driver friendly.  Wet cars are comfortable but I think they handle like a boat.  Also, if you put passengers in the back you end up shining your headlights up in the trees.

One of these days... I would like to put my S back to somewhat original. After looking closer at pics of the car when I got it, it does look like the slam panel

stiffener might have been angled. When I fixed it up I put in a new front panel which I thought was correct at the time. Is there any difference in the front

panels other than the holes for the later options on other cars?? I know I can get a angled stiffener. I do have the original oil cooler, so I'd put that in as well.

When I'm done with my Woody and Bugeye projects I am going to get serious about an S engine for it. Since there is no rust at all, it would be a re-spray in the

red, and then the interior. The only other thing is to swap it back to Hydro.... not sure about doing that or not. This is all years down the road, but was just wondering.

I have fun with it now, and drive it as much as I can. It wouldnt be a concourse car, but a little closer to original than it is right now.
