Thanks, I'm fairly sure this is a UK, RHD, steering column lock mini 72 MK3 non Cooper. While a 998 it has what I consider a 850 single 1 1/4 SU intake system with a plastic 850 style air cleaner asembly. I recently bought 100 back issues of Mini World. I paid $1 each for them plus postage. I have them laid out by date and they are full of good info.

I also have an early 70s Inno 1000 just a shell and all the parts. no power unit no subframes. The steel nose has been cut off ( it's hanging on the wall ) and it's bare needing front floors. Could sell off the dash, rollup hidden hinge door with vent windows and other inno bits would rather sell complete. Steve (CTR)

Depending on what type of mini, toggles may be correct.  Inno's had toggles for that year and I believe some of the other mainland Europe ones did too.

Thanks that's what I thought, someone converted to toggle switches. And made the plate out of thin ply wood. I can get it from there jus need to close the hole in the lower rail and wrap the rail. They want MK2 look with MK3. Steve (CTR)

My '73 Canadian Mini's switch panel looks very similar to Spitz's picture with the exception of the center item being the pump for the window washer.

Here's a picture of it (just ignore the gauge pod below the switches):

I could use a picture of a 72 MK3 1000 switch panel. This is a  lower dash pad car. What intake system did they come with in UK. Still a yoke type Cooper style remote tranny, drum brakes. Thanks any help at all. Steve (CTR)
