'...Malsal in Florida told me that on this past Monaday, they had the monsoon rains, great for towing a Moke on an open trailer..."
Beats the snot out of driving an open Moke in a monsoon. [rolleyes]
BTDT in full rain gear. Wife and i got out of the Moke at a diner with a canopy looked at each other and just laughed hysterically.
If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.
Give a car more power and it goes faster on the straights,
make a car lighter and it's faster everywhere. Colin Chapman.

Everyday since has been a picture perfect day, blue skies, low 70's and sunny
Although Malsal in Florida told me that on this past Monaday, they had the monsoon rains, great for towing a Moke on an open trailer

In spite of the nasty weather in the morning, it turned out to be a great day. It was a privledge to drive the 850 back to the garage. Hard to describe how awesome this car is to drive - Don's build is impeccable and it drives as good as it looks.

The early morning was tough! But when the sun came out,it was one of the best Bronte shows ever. Don Sobering and his S&M mini's won first in sliding window and third in roll down window. The 62 850 showed well and peolpe loved the car, Rachel even got to drive the 850 back to Don's and I took up my usual seat in Box 002. Cheers
Dyslexics are teople poo... LOL
Now I am sorry I missed it this year.

Not sure of the total car count but as a rule we have around 90-100 minis in class and to-day we had 32,
Maybe 650 in total Brit cars as opposed to 1200-
So, so much for " IT never RAINS on Brit car day"

A well organized event, that runs like a well oiled wheel-
Cars, vendors and food- Burloak Drive at the Queen Elizabeth Highway, just follow the British cars-
We usually have 90-100 minis turn out, weather looks iffy but "IT NEVER RAINS ON BRIT CAR DAY " !!!!!
See you there-
