I will Al, just as I suspected, you're fanning the flames for your own benefit "helping us out in California..", who's responsible for all the revin's here? may be worth the State's time to file a class action against predatory & illegal revin activity. That's an awful dog to have associated in the game....

Al:

I think you or Bill posted a link to the revised document, do you still have that?

There are issues, it may be that perhaps people do not wish to present them on a public forum, but public verified information is valuable to all. Other states have had proposed legilslation that could impact classic or hobbyist cars, whatever you wish to call them.

For example I would like to have a Moke. With the current status in California that leaves a very limited subset of all Mokes available for me to purchase.

It seems to point at vehicles being imported to Cali, I'd argue internationally, not for vehicles already here in Cali. I don't think the Cali pot needs any additional stirring from outside Cali, especially from a Canadian importer. Funny how no one here seems to have any issues.

I have no dog in this fight, other than l have sold several classic minis in California

Here is a report to a query from the registration policy and Automation. branch ARB in California-

1968-1974 used direct import vehicles (UDIV) are required to pass the EPA test and referee inspection-

The memo states that a new memo was issued this year because of errors in the instructions customers were receiving from DMV staff-

I hope this helps-
