Rolleyes? Where? Did Dennis bring 'em back and not tell me?

I too have been on this forum for a number of years and took a 5 year hiatus. When i came back I went from 2 stars to 1 star and had to work back up to 2 stars, and my post count started over again. Its not a big deal to me, I kind of use the stars as a tool to judge the information I am getting from individuals, and how accurate it may be. I am pretty happy to start from the bottom and move up, as this lets people know that I have limited amount of information as compared to Hunter2 or CupCake. The big down fall is i can see is people might use it the same way i do, and take my advise and toss it to the wayside.

I have a feeling that's reserved for "employees"

I'd love to see statuses based on peer voting. haha. You get to vote on someone's profile by clicking. You're presented with multiple options (Helpful, Expert, Smart-ass, Useless, Class-Clown, etc.) haha

Don't visit here much anymore and was never a frequent poster.  Just posting to see my stars.

Raises hand. [rolleyes]

Actually, I never pay any attention the the starry things. But, I also have a good idea of who's advice to take.

Agreement there MtyMous...just curious as to how the "ratings" are established.  Can't be based on colour visuion alone....

Makes no difference to me. I judge each post by its content.

Much like other forums I'm on, you have "status" based on how many posts you have. But then you have "post whores" who post on anything and everything and never contribute, or just contribute with their own stupidity or just to bicker.

If anything, it's misleading to more junior members who don't quite know what value to put with someone's "advice".

I've never even noticed those stars before now. I had to look to see what you were talking about.

I never paid any attention to the stars.  I'm going to reply here just so I can see what I have under my name...
