On a right hand drive with the pedasl in the way, I found it was much easier to loosen the heater, hold the pedal out of the way and get the hose and clamp on the heater lip securely.
It is more like taking the front seat out to do the clevis pins for the pedals. It certainly can be done and I did it that way until I happened to have a seat out. Just a whole easier to get to hand in there without twisitng the back.

Should be able to fit easily without having to drop the heater....proper sized hose clamps and a little slack in the hose

The picture is not too good, but:

Once everything is correctly in place, it will work.

I have put in the pedal assembly and fresh air heater. this is a right hand drive car and the fresh air intake on the heater is adjacent to the pedal assembly. there seems no way to run the intake hose to the heater. what am I doing wrong? thanks, Dave
