What is the drop dead date for giving?

Three years ago Suzy and I took part in The Italian Job (//www.italianjob.com), and a large number of our chums at MME were kind enough to sponsor us a few dollars to help towards the team total asked by the organisers.

We're doing it again this year !
Now I was unable to rattle a collecting tin a MMEMW as we weren't confirmed at that time, but with a week to go until departure we are a few Pounds/Dollars short of the requested total, so I thought I'd have an ask on here.
We will be taking part as a team of six in three matching cars - the sight of three Union Jack Minis three abreast round the Lingotto rooftop track ought to make for some good photos.

100% of the money raised gets donated to the IJ charity, who then distribute it to the Childrens Charities they support - primarily Variety at the moment.
All costs for doing the run are met by the participants i.e. we will not be spending any donations on fuel or food etc.
