the guy in the shop on the other side of the building from mine does sandblasting, I will ask him.  On the south side of Stuart, a couple blocks north of the Harley dealership, just off US-1.

Miguel, I'm at Sunset Bay.  Lunch?  [email protected]

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.  I will be following up on the hot rod shop thing. I have some other parts that need plating and a hot rod shop would also be a good place to start. Also, I have no room or facilities here for blasting my own parts plus it would pain me to duplicate what we have at the shop in Minnesota.

Hey Kerm, I also live in Stuart (Jensen Beach), have a classic Rover mini currently and have had 12 classic minis over the years. Also have a tug/trawler that I enjoy. I have a few friends that may be able to help. I will check with them and let you know. Minimc

You can try finding a company that sells and manufactures grave markers/head stones, etc.  They use sandblasting to carve the letters into the stone.  I have used these type of business before to sandblast stuff for me before my son got his very large and nice blast cabinet.  Too bad you aren't local to us, as Eric can blast items as large as a subframe in his.

Not worth the hassle for a couple of small parts.

Perhaps you can search out local hot rodders / hot rod shops for a referral to someone that has one in their garage? Find a cruise in a start asking around. Also, perhaps check with the nearest local British car club.

I'm living in Stuart, FL for most of the winter and am looking for a place to get a couple of parts sandblasted.  Most of the shops I found really don't want to do jobs that take only 5 or 10 minutes.  Minimums and that sort of thing also.  Anybody got an idea?
