From what I remember while researching our Downton head, the .100 means that .100" was skimmed to give a chamber size of 22cc and the serial number of the head is 1131.

Once you replace everything that is attached to something else. It will all be fixed.

Performance head specialists usually stamp the top face (outside the rocker cover somewhere) with the specs usually cc and amount skimmed at least.

I bought a Head for a 998 from a fellow that said it is a Longman head. it needs a couple of valves replaced. I am looking at it and really want to know how to I tell it really is a longman head? the casting number is 12a1456.
