Having those dogs would preclude having to carry a spare tyre in the boot. Throw a travois over their shoulders and the Mini gets pulled to the nearest service centre.

As far as a 'perfect size' dog for a Mini, I know a guy that removed the rear seat out of his 1963 Austin Mini 850 Saloon so he could have his pair of retired Greyhound's with him! He actually saved the dogs, (apparently it is common practice for a Greyhound to be 'put down' after its racing career is over) His dogs were very kind and very very big. Awesome article by the way!         Mini Estate

Make a fast friend. Adopt a Greyhound!

West Highland White Terriers. We used to breed these wonderful dogs. Here is a picture, strictly a coincidence, of my cousins in Germany with their  Westie  "Celia" in 1992! Perfect size for a Mini. My most recent Westie was "Treble Clef" and I got him from a music teacher. He was a great dog.

I was really lucky to find Miniworld this weekend in Asheville (NC) and, for once, I can actually read 'current' Mini news. Nice pups,

regards,

Abel

I've never tried but if you can save the image to photobucket or flicker (what ever you use) you could post the picture.

Which I look forward to. My subscription ran out and I renewed, not sure what month they'll restart me for MiniWorld delivery.

Hope your issue, will see.

If anyone can tell me how to post the pdf scan of the magazine page I'll post it here

In the meantime, I just came back from a walk along the local salmon creek and both Westies decided to run off and spend about 10  minutes rolling in dead decaying salmon guts. I could smell them before I could see them. Lots of dawn dishwashing soap later and they are back to adorable.

Well looks like our "fur kids" made the October 2014 MiniWorld magazine. Page 26 in the "Inbox" section shows our two sitting in the rear seat of our Mini tartan. Sniff.....we're proud "parents". Will have to have it printed off and add it to the "let me show you these pictures" section of our wallets now.
