Wow, one of your few posts I was able to read before you delete it.

Guess I should enjoy it before it goes

That's not BC deleting his posts SXS, it would be the MM moderators.

Spitz,

I am interested in the UK plate for my '62 Austin Countryman if you still have it. Let me know how much you would like for it.

darn,

In Michigan (at least, the last time I checked) using a period plate requires limited mileage (like, to and from shows, so that if you get pulled over and it is obvious that you're not going to/from a show, like to work in the morning, they could give you a ticket).

They've been allowing YOM plates in South Carolina for several years now. It's a great program. No restrictions other than the car needs to be at least 30 years old.

Not restricted to antique. I got a year of manufacture plate for my MGA which is registered as a classic.

As of this year, the state of PA is allowing cars registered as antiques to run plates from year of manufacture. Managed to get a very good one with currently unused numbers. Made application for new registration today. I had seen this done by some other states in the past (NY), but had to look around for a while to find a really nice PA plate with a good 63 sticker. Looks great on the Traveller!
