Except that hilos allow you to adjust the suspension height after the break-in compression of the rubber cone/spring.

Air2Air, Yes, exactly one year...and they have no spring to them at all! I got them from MiniSport...and they are done! Now, in their defense, I did lower the hi-los...thus squishing the cones I guess....but still I am upset.
As '63sv2 has said, the HiLo's have absolutely no effect on how long the cone lasts.
Have you contacted MiniSport with your concerns?

I'm currently thinking of replacing my 45+ year old cones..however, all teh new stuff seesm to attract pretty bad press....
By the sound of it your cones are still in the car. However when you get them out I'd really appreciate some photos...
BTW..HiLos have absolutely no effect on the cones ....
Cheers, Ian

Captain I can't believe they're shot after one year. I have heard about knockoffs doing that though. You do have Hi/Los already right?
Pretty sure that most people here will tell you to stick with OEM Rover cones, red dots or Smooth a Rides like I have. Springs do not get rave reviews over the cones.

Have any of you had or have converted your mini to Mini Tastic suspension springs? Mini Tastic is located in the UK. If so, what are your opinions/reviews of their products?
I don't race my minis. I sometimes drive them aggressively,(how can you help but do that occassionally), which springs would you recommend? I like the mini to sit a little on the lower side. I dont' want the car to sit too high. I just replaced my cones last year(exactly one year ago)...and they are shot!! I am looking for other options. Mini Tastic looks to have a possible solution to my problem.
HELP!
