We hoped Williams would have shown better than they did. Suppose it's a bit un patriotic of me wanting Teri Bottas to win, although I was pleased Lewis won beating Rosberg.

I watched it, and I enjoyed it. But, those engines still sound funny this year.

It is funny, at one time wife Joy and myself knew names of drivers, car numbers and teams for all three NASCAR touring series, F1, Indy car as CART, and the Midget/sprint car series on thursday night thunder. Now I don't much care any longer. Kind of like when ask about football. I ask how many home runs did they get? The second time DW said buggity buggity I knew I wasn't watching that any more. But, if you're a NASCAR fan, you're supposed to know who's driving just by that number. And, know who his enemies are on track and off.

Just another thing to prove how much more intelligent NASCAR fans are compared to the heathen F1 folks.

Caterham and Marussia are both out, not that they would be a big factor in the outcome. I'll still watch it regardless of the announcers. I pray that there will be no NASCAR guy who keeps saying thing like the 3 car is ahead of the 12 car now. Those guys never try to learn the driver's names!

Looking forward to the race.
Unfortunately this is the only race of the year that can't be watched live with Coulthard calling it.

The only option is to watch it on a US network called NBC.....not a chance.  Having to listen to three or four people including the marble mouthed Hobbs, I don't think so......as well as graphics covering a third of the screen etc.  I'll not be surprised if they use the big animated arrows pointing to the drivers so the nascar types can keep up...lol
Will have to watch it delayed by an hour ( rather do that though than watch an NBC broadcast! )

Rant almost over

....go  Rosberg!
