New Zealand Mini according to the owner on the other thread.
If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.
Give a car more power and it goes faster on the straights,
make a car lighter and it's faster everywhere. Colin Chapman.

998 engine - Rod change- Aussie body - drum brakes fresh resto July 2014
Ran pretty well - Brand new carb - full new exhaust - full custom very nice re aphulstered interior.
Hard on the brakes for a mess of deer in the highway - Veered into ditch--- Catapult / Somersault.
Lucily flip= landed on back roof - amazing didnt touch the headlihgt- windshield panels.
Not mine- but I worked with the chap eariler this year getting it nice n pretty- Sad events.
I know he's happy hagarty paid- and already has another mini on the water.!
Not an Aussie body (in case soemone was looking for Oz spares). No external hinges and Mk III windows etc...
Cheers, Ian

I remember exchanging a few messages with him on another forum. I'm really sorry about the Mini but glad he was not hurt in the accident.

I guess it was a rollover, at least the owner is ok.

Is this just me or does it not look like a rollover, more like something fell on it? Can a rollover crush the C-pillar that hard?
Obviously he plowed into something. But to me it looks like he got it from high and behind, like a tall truck bumper.

low milage 998 but even so, that's a lot of work stripping it down. Not much there.
