George I believe you and I are owners of the fabulous Jet Ignition kit.

I doubled my gap, performance has been terrific with it as promised.  Sorry but I can't remember what I took it out to but that 60K coil doesn't seem to be concerned.  The Pertronix 2 in the dizzy is noticeably better as well.  It idles super smooth and you can tell the improvement at higher rpms.

The general improvement is the smoothness because it just doesn't miss anymore, it's almost like an ECU.  lugs are a lovely brown.  Additionally the backside is a lot less sooty.  I mean the car's.

And i shouldn't have assumed that you did have Petronix but as you do have all Petronix parts surely they should know the best plug gap to use. Was there any advice in the instructions ?

Doug, I should have mentioned the Pertronix in the dizzy. Your comment good clarification for others though.

Unless your distributor has an electronic ignition, leave the plug gap alone, making only minor increases in plug gap if any.  The charge/discharge cycle of an electronic ignition allows you to take advantage of high voltage coils and wider plug gaps.  oints ignitions only allow small increases.

You should be able to run 0.35 easily.
