And just look at that magnificent heater fan! Might that car have been an export to Canada?

A way better deal imo even with a couple of rust holes the body and interior are much nicer not to mention it still has the correct engine. It will be interesting to see what this one goes for as it is not on the West coast where prices are stronger.

I don't know where this car is going but a lot of these early not rusted to the ground Mini's and other British makes are making their way back home lately. With the S's being out of reach for a lot of people the regular Cooper's are coming on strong and have been for a while. Just look at what Van's and pick up's are doing price wise now in the UK compared to a few years ago not to mention old Clubman Estates.

I would walk from that Mini at that price...but what did it actually sell for?

Way too many issues including rust (that is not there), uncertain about the power unit with remote,...dealer in what??

I think you Guys are being a bit harsh..  A genuine 997 with a lot of its origianl features intact - albiet with an AA 1275 - for $13K doesn't seem too bad.....a lot better then 20K for a dodgy revin.

While you could spend 15K, you could produce a very nice cosmetic package (no idea as to the mechanical state) for a tenth of that.

Cheers, Ian

It is a good place to start from, but the price was to high.Easy to spend another 15k on this car. imho I  really dont like the second rad shroud.Don Sobering's 1962 850 started it,s rebuild in better shape and that took 4 years and a lot of talent to get it up to our standards.

Check out this recent Mini that sold on Ebay. The word "Yikes" comes to mind! The interior is to die for. No, really.              Mini Estate
