I guess I will have to replace it. I did try regrease all the mechanical parts, even tried using silicon lube on the felt channel (bad idea).

I had the same problem, which I ended up replacing. You could try re-greasing the points that slide in the window channel, as well as the contact point on the back. The window winder cog, in my case stripped.

Hello:
The right hand window is hard to crank up and easy to roll down. I took out the regulator and it seems to be in good shape.
Also tried to manually move the glass up and down and seems to do it without any problems. Has anybody had the same or similar problem?
Would the regulator work differently under the load of the glass? I just can't figure it out. Thanks for your input.
