Great A-Series tap there Dimitris!

I made a Google Docs template with categorized tabs and totals for each area, like brakes, drivetrain, etc.

But two things happened.  First, the chest pains seeing the totals.  Second, I just stopped updating it because staying on top of the car was enough work already.

Weird that there aren’t more spec and maintenance templets out there. I searched the web pretty throughly and didn’t turn up much in the way of auto templets. Plenty of other oddball things of course—if, for example, you want to use Excel to track your ferret’s weight gain and nutritional requirements you’re in luck! Weird.

Here’s a build sheet, spec sheet* and a maintenance log I threw together last night. They’re PDFs because I don’t know how to send a file via the MM forum. If anyone is interested in obtaining a working version of the templates, please contact me by email. Cheers!

Not to worry, Willie. I did my time in purgatory with a trailer queen 911. Rosebud's gonna be driven.

* No claim of accuracy or any endorsement for the settings that appear on the Spec Sheet.

its nice to have a maintenance and parts replacement record , it's a big advantage when you decided to sell the mini, buyers love to see that the mini they're buying is well taken cared of...be it a $2.5k  beat up mini or a $60K mini with a hayabusa engine breathing under the hood.

thanks for the idea rose.

I’m assembling a binder of tune-up specs and a maintenance table for my Mini. I’m looking for a spreadsheet or a page layout template that can be used to record maintenance, tune-up specs, capacities, common torque figures, etc. A “build sheet” template would nice too. It’s been years since I knew my way around Excel & PageMaker. I’m hoping someone might have something similar… or perhaps a link. Thanks!
