Thanks for the quick response. 

Can I just dis-connect this sensor or was there more involved when you say removed completely. Was it the O2 before or after CAT that you worked on.?

I was able to fix it by removing my O2 sensor completly.

I am just experiencing the same problem. I have a 2004 Mini Cooper. Just replaced exhaust and I am now popping 15A fuse in engine bay which powers cam shaft sensor and the 2 O2 sensors. Can last a day or so then I lose this fuse. Wondering if you can help. Did you solve this problem.

And my codes that I've been getting are "P0420 P0445 P0031 P0037 P0340 P0445 P0031 P0037"

The other changes I made was a 2% crank pully increase, high performance intake and exhaust valves, K&N cold air intake, with MSD coil pack, and spark plugs. Along with what I posted in the previous post. And the fuse that keeps blowing is the one in the engine bay.

Fuse F3 in the cabin fuse box is a 5 amp fuse that protects the Clock.

Fuse F03 in the engine compartment fuse box is a 15 amp fuse that protects the Engine Control module.

Were there any other changes other than the header and exhaust?

Does the CEL come on when the fuse blows, and if so, what are the error codes?

I just finished rebuilding my 05 base Mini Cooper and I took that opportunity to do a few mods. One of the big changes I made, was putting a high flow header and exhaust system on my car. And I've had a lot of fun driving it with an amazing new sound, but unfortunately I keep blowing my f3 fuse and can't figure out why. I was wondering if getting my car retuned would change that? If anyone has any thoughts on the matter please help.
